Black Onyx

ONYX

Onyx is found in Brazil, India, California, and Uruguay.

On the Mohs scale of hardness, it is a 6.5.

Onyx is chalcedony quartz and naturally occurs in bands of black and white, but is dyed to achieve the jet black stones that we use.

HEALING PROPERTIES:

Onyx is thought to increase happiness, intuition, instincts, decrease sexual desire & help change bad habits.

CARE

Clean in an ultrasonic or by scrubbing with a designated soft “baby” toothbrush and

mild dish soap (not lemon scented) and warm water.
